In 2017, Laura experienced a period of ill mental health that changed her life. During her recovery, she discovered calligraphy and lettering which has become essential to her wellbeing, and now, her business, Laura Letters Life. As a London-based calligraphy artist and teacher Laura is passionate about sharing the mindful benefits of calligraphy. Through workshops and events she helps people tap into their inner creative, find a space to calm their busy lives and to re-connect - whether that’s with themselves, or with others. She offers public and private workshops, workplace sessions, and calligraphy services to provide a personal touch for brand events and more. Laura is now on a journey to fill in the gaps in her knowledge, connecting with artists and historians, specialists and organisations who work and promote the world of lettering - in all its forms. By launching The Life of Letters podcast, she is sharing her conversations with audiences all over the world.
